Considering the last one was supposedly a 'one off event', I'm sure locals will love this.

Anyway, I don't see why this won't be as successful as the last one and wish them luck with it. The pyramid wasn't really trashed last time, and it's during term time, so it seems like a positive move to attract more people to the park.

But its an over 18 event, so hows it going to be more popular with kids on holiday?

I suspect this one might not be so successful, as the other one was the '21st birthday' event of the Pleasuredome, that would be bound to attract more people than if it was just a normal Pleasuredome event.

It will still be a success I bet, just not as popular as the original event.

That was my point, there will be fewer families/children around to be affected by the crowds/noise etc...

There are more raves planned, one on November 28th, and another for New Year's Eve.

When i was there on saturday day all the maintanince crew was working where the monarial is. Also the entertainment on the lagoon stage finished at 4pm. Any one have an update to how the rave went?

looking at the rave realy looks good i was reading through and it says there will be rides available. but i cant see them opening the rides to be haunest as they now have been dismantled for the winter. i may be wrong. but they cant open the rides in the summer what chance they gonna have in the cold winter months. unless they are going to hire more rides as its saying on the flyer funfair rides fantasy island is more a theme park.

I hope the people that go to the rave will complain about the rides not being available. Are they saying there will be rides open for the New Years eve rave?
