Visited Fantasy Island on the 12th and what a day it was. The weather was fantastic; the park was also busy. What I noticed also was they have removed a couple of barriers around Absolutely Insane and there were a few of those small market barrow type things in there (yuck).
I did ride Jubilee Odyssey at the back, what an intense ride it was. When I came off my head was thumping but that was more due to the night before. I went on Volcanic Impact as well as Fantasy Mouse which the sign still says on top - Fantasy Mouse. The only problem that I had was my little one was upset because she couldn't get on Fantasy Mouse as she is under the size limit but it doesnt stop her going on Rhombus Rocket.
As there were problems with ordering the wristbands online as well as the phonelines I did actually get the wristbands for £15 adult and £10 child. What I also noticed was beside Jubilee Odyssey it tells you on a board what color the day is which i can't remember if that was there before.
I also noticed that the market extension is no longer fenced off, so hopefully they have woken up and realised they don't need a bigger market but a smaller one.
Fantasy Island must still own caravans as beside were you buy the wristbands inside the pyramid they are advertising caravans to rent at the resort. Even with it being busy I didn't wait long to get on rides. I left the park at around 7pm and went to Skegness for the fun night at Bottons - which was heaving with people. But I just visited the fireworks instead which were amazing. I do hope to go back in October so I will take my camera to keep you updated as this visit was just a spur of the moment thing.
