The summer holidays have just begun and the park is once again opening later into the evenings. Whilst admission to the park is still free, to help you make the most of your visit, we’ve compiled a selection of some of the best promotions to help you to save you money when buying
wristbands and live tickets.
Tesco Clubcard
Tesco Clubcard members are able to redeem Clubcard tokens for wristbands at Fantasy Island. Clubcard vouchers need to be initially
transferred into rewards tokens and can then be exchanged as full, or part-payment when purchasing wristbands at the park. More information about this reward is available on the
Tesco Clubcard website.
Local Press
Buy One Get One Free Promotions are frequently published in local newspapers, including the Skegness Standard and the Derby Telegraph. These offers often allow the bearer to purchase one wristband, and get another free. Variations apply, such as whether the voucher applies to adult or child wristbands, so it is always worth checking the terms and conditions.
Visit The Seaside Voucher
Visit The Seaside is a brochure which is available from the Skegness Tourist Information Centre (located inside the Embassy Theatre on Grand Parade, Skegness). The brochure features a voucher which entitles the bearer to £10 of extra credit when they purchase £20 of credit on a
live ticket at Fantasy Island. The brochure is also available to download from the
Visit The Seaside website.
Voucher Cloud
This promotion is an electronic voucher which allows you to save £5 on wristbands at the park. You can redeem the voucher directly on your iPhone or iPod Touch. More information about this offer is available on the
Voucher Cloud website.
Official Fantasy Island Website
You can save £2 per wristband when you purchase in advance via the official Fantasy Island website. Wristbands must be ordered at least 24 hours before your visit, and can only be used on the date selected.
If you know of any special offers, or discounts that we’ve missed, feel free to share them on
our discussion forums. Remember to check out the Island Quest
trip planning pages before you visit the park.

Work is still taking place on a number of rides across the park, some of which are yet to open for the 2010 season.
Odyssey is still yet to reopen for the 2010 season. The train was reassembled and reinstated back on the track earlier this month and was seen testing on Saturday afternoon.
Volcanic Impact has received some TLC, as the interior walls of the volcano have been painted orange and red colours and the queue line has been reduced to a single fence around the entrance allowing for riders to get a better view of the car launching whilst they wait. The banners have made a welcome return on the ride car, but unfortunately there are no replacement flags for the top of the tower this year. A number of
Rhombus Rocket's supports have been painted, but the ride is still yet to reopen for the 2010 season.
Beast, the park's Mondial Top Scan, has been subject to downtime recently as the ride has been disassembled for its oil to be changed as well as installing a new seal to the gear box. The space beside Beast remains vacant after the
Circus Convoy ride and
Safari Land Train were removed to make way for
a temporary ice rink in autumnlast year.
The bingo hall on Sea Lane, which was being
gutted during January 2009 has reopened this year as another arcade. A number of games stalls have opened around the park, with some being added to the area once occupied by Absolutely Insane. More rides have been added to the opposite side of Sea Lane, including a waltzer and chairoplane. These attractions are stand alone attractions on leased land owned by the park; therefore are not included in the Fantasy Island wristband promotion.
