Initially purchased for £100,000, as a gift for John Woodward's son in 1999, the Safari Land Train was removed at the end of the 2009 season. The train consisted of five carraiges themed with a range of eclectic wildlife. The track circuit meandered around a range of jungle themeing. The ride was originally located beside the go-kart track in the market, and was relocated in 2007 to the fairground on land adjacent to where The Beast stands now
